Núria Graham

One of the most talented singer-songwriters in Spain

Can we talk about maturity at 21 years old? If we’re talking about Núria Graham, we definitely can. Indeed, this artist from Vic self-edited an album before she was even old enough to vote, and it’s already perfectly clear that she is heading towards the fertile plains occupied by the most-renowned singer-songwriters of past and present.

To do this, she is able to bring her personality to everything she plays, even if it’s a song so apparently far from her style as Britney Spears’ Toxic, which she did an intense cover of on the EP In the Cave.

Does It Ring a Bell?, Graham’s third LP, is a real force of creative authority. The guitar and her perfect English accent are at the helm, accompanied by a superb band. The singer also takes responsibility for defining the sound she wants for the album, coproducing it with Joan Pons of El Petit de Cal Eril.

Together, they create a refined psychedelic sound, enveloping in mysterious and elegant vapours songs which show all the sides of Núria Graham: the one which is doubtful and the one that is resolute, the one that is vulnerable and the one that is defiant… multifaceted complexities that come together on stage and become stronger through the singer’s presence.
