For the first time at Cruïlla, dance took over the Parc del Fòrum, and one of the boldest highlights that year came in the form of freestyle battles:
Round Robin Battle
Eight top-level dancers went head-to-head in an intense stage showdown that tested their style, musicality, and creativity. The participants faced a rule-free stage, where every move was a response, a provocation, or pure instinct.
Under the expert judgment of Ruth Prim and Shyno, and fueled by the unmatched energy of Yuk from Brodas Bros on the mic as MC, OULOUY “ENFANTDESBOIS,” MARINA MOLINA, BLAZE “SHINY SHAZAM,” NAHIEL DOMENECH, GUEST “?,” PITU “PITROLO,” AMIR, and ANDREA LATORRE competed to prove who deserved to be crowned winner of this thrilling clash of talents.
Experimental Battle
Next, the Experimental Battle featured another eight dancers—accompanied by live musicians Guiliam Sons, Montes Turquesa, and French artist CJMS—in a celebration of free movement, sound as space, and art as a genuine act of connection.
The audience witnessed a living, breathing experience where improvisation became poetic language. With no fixed rules, it was pure expression—every move a response, a provocation, or raw intuition.
TULIO, JENNY, MARINA MOLINA, MARINA PRAVKINA, SKYCHIEF, ROY, OULOUY, and PEP led a night filled with tension, creativity, and authentic stage presence.
The delicate balance between technique, presence, and storytelling was assessed by expert judge Ruth Prim, while MC YUK brought voice and rhythm to the action.
