Circular economy

Why do we work for circularity?

We understand the Festival Cruïlla as a closed ecosystem, where resources are managed responsibly and everything that is consumed has a strategy to be reused, recycled or directly avoided.

In this sense, we apply the pillars of the circular economy in order to close the cycle of materials, betting on their reuse, responsible purchasing and efficient management of resources and waste. We work to reduce the extraction of resources and extend the useful life of materials, eliminating as much as possible single-use materials and waste in general throughout the festival.

The circular economy is important at the Festival Cruïlla because:

  1. It reduces environmental impact (less waste and emissions and better resource management).
  2. It improves logistics management and economic sustainability (less costs in waste management and more efficient purchases).
  3. It sets an example to audiences, artists and brands and reinforces the festival’s identity as a responsible reference.
  4. Opens doors to grants, alliances and certifications that recognize this commitment.
