Design, Build and Experience the Stages of Cruïlla 2026

For the first time, we are joining the Concéntrico Festival to launch an open call for architects to design the main stages of Festival Cruïlla 2026.

At Festival Cruïlla, we conceive stages as another form of art, fully integrated into the festival’s artistic programme. For this reason, this year we are partnering with Concéntrico, within the framework of Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026, to launch an open call aimed at architecture studios.

The proposal consists of designing two stage scenographies for the festival’s main stages: the Estrella Damm Stage and the Occident Stage. The challenge is to conceive the stage as habitable architecture: not merely defining a structure, but creating a space capable of engaging in dialogue with music, light, movement, and the energy of thousands of people.

A jury composed of representatives from Festival Cruïlla, Concéntrico, the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Estrella Damm, and Occident will select the winning projects. The two selected proposals will be further developed and built to become part of Festival Cruïlla 2026, which will take place from 8 to 11 July at Parc del Fòrum.

The open call will remain open until 17 March 2026.
