Since 2016, the main stage of Festival Cruïlla has been much more than just a stage: it’s a space that tells a story beyond the music that plays there. And this is thanks to the collaboration with set designer and film director Lluís Danés.
Over the years, we’ve enjoyed 8 different scenographic designs for the Estrella Damm Stage—from an underwater world with seahorses, to a windmill spectacle, or an exhibition of giant museum paintings. This year, we’ll once again unveil a unique design that will become, yet again, the stage of our festival memories.
And for the second year in a row, the Occident Stage will also feature a custom-designed scenography created especially for the occasion. Danés will once again dress the stage with a creative proposal: a spectacular piece of ephemeral architecture made from red fabric that will create an immersive experience for the festival audience.
