Green Rider

Sustainability, a fight of all involved!

The artists are one of the main protagonists of the Festival Cruïlla, so we accompany them so that their passage through the festival is as sustainable as possible with clear and collaborative proposals.

In the same way that they send us a rider with their needs to carry out their performance at the festival, we send them a green rider with sustainable actions in terms of catering, accommodation and transport that go hand in hand with good practices in the field of circularity and care of the environment that we carry out.

  • All containers provided to the artists are reusable and returnable. The use of plastic water bottles is prohibited, only the use of canteens provided by the festival is allowed, which can be refilled at the mineral water stations that will be in all backstage.
  • The Festival Cruïlla offers ground coffee beans in all backstage and production offices, in order to eliminate the use of capsules that generate a very high volume of waste.
  • The hospitality rider is reviewed prior to purchase, in case there are any modifications. The nature of touring may mean that items in the rider may have changed and are no longer needed. Festival Cruïlla checks with the tour manager prior to final purchase to ensure that requirements remain the same and to avoid unnecessary waste.
  • Festival Cruïlla only provides quality, local food and healthy options.
  • In order to minimize the use of materials from polluting industries, we give each artist a towel for the stage and they are asked to bring their own hygiene towels, although they can order them on demand. They are also asked to avoid any unnecessary printing and, if essential, to use only certified paper of ethical origin or, preferably, recycled paper.
  • The Festival Cruïlla books accommodation for the artists, as close as possible, to minimize transportation to and from the show. These hotels are Ecostars environmentally certified.
  • Artists are asked to make responsible use of the transfer service.
