Mazoni, the artistic name of Empordà musician Jaume Pla, began his musical journey at 13 and later became the singer of the band Holland Park, with whom he released two albums before launching his solo career in 2004. Since then, he has released 14 works, performed at major international festivals and stages such as South By Southwest in Texas, and collaborated with artists like Pau Riba. His career blends experimental projects —including the documentary and collaboration in Turkey (Navigam: Per primer cop a Istambul) and the book–album 31 dies tancat— with a constant search for artistic risk, as well as a more direct approach to pop. Now he presents his latest album, ‘Banderes per daltònics’, where he recovers the vitality, instant melodies and the spirit of his beginnings, proving that Mazoni continues to create songs full of the naturalness and authenticity that define him.
We’ve been eagerly waiting for this reunion. Mazoni finally arrives at Parc del Fòrum on Thursday, July 9th, with a new live show we can’t wait to share.
