The origin of a new universe
Jara Aiala and Isaïes Albert. Maybe their names don’t sound familiar to you. They’re only 22 and 26 years old and their duo project, Aiala, is still very young. But, despite this, they’re after an extremely ambitious objective: they want to create their own musical universe. A universe where image and music walk together.
These two artists first met in music school and, in 2017, they started making jazz, blues, soul and rock renditions. But then, a year ago, they started creating their own songs, which were deeply rooted to black music.
On October 25th, Aiala will perform in Cruïlla de Tardor to present their first album, the climax of their personal universe, which will be released in September.

De moment, amb el seus tres primers singles, ja hem pogut fer una petita ullada a aquest univers visual. Aiala associa cada cançó amb un planeta o satèl·lit diferent, representats amb les il·lustracions de Carlos Undergroove. ‘In trouble’ està vinculada amb un Júpiter rosat, ‘Red temple’ amb una Lluna vermella i ‘Listen’ amb un Saturn blau. A més, els seus videoclips conserven una forta vinculació amb cadascun d’aquests colors.
Aiala presenta un so modern, que reinventa la música negra per adaptar-la a les tendències actuals sense perdre la seva essència més clàssica.
