Dancing the Darkness

Diversity is one of the hallmarks of Festival Cruïlla. Not only do we feature a variety of artistic disciplines, but within our music program, we believe that all styles and proposals are equally essential. That’s why party music could not be missing from our next edition, and it will arrive with SVSTO.

SVSTO is the musical project of Carla Parmenter, who, alongside producer Alejandro Da Rocha, has crafted a dark yet danceable sound full of sharp lyrics about the experience of being young in 21st-century Europe, living from crisis to crisis. Formerly part of the duo Las Bistecs, she revives that concept and takes it to a more serious and raw level, yet still ironic, glam, festive, and disruptive. Her debut album, ‘CRISIS‘, transports us to the industrial outskirts and fields of her native Vallès Oriental, exploring queer experiences, underground culture, and activism. Connected to established artists like Zahara and promising names of the present and future such as Fades, she has already performed on some of Barcelona’s most iconic stages, from Sala Apolo to Pride.

Social critique and guaranteed party will come together in SVSTO’s concert on Saturday, July 11th, at Festival Cruïlla 2026: come and experience her debut album live!
