For more than thirty years, The Hives, made up of Howlin’ Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson and Vigilante Carlstroem, have left their mark on rock music worldwide. They have filled major stadiums and shared the stage with legends such as AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. The BBC has described them as “a force of nature”, while Rolling Stone has included their album ‘Veni Vidi Vicious‘ among the 100 best of the decade. Their anthem “Hate To Say I Told You So” has been recognized by Pitchfork as one of the 500 best songs of the 2000s. With millions of albums sold, platinum records and accolades such as Grammys, MTV Awards and NME Awards, the Swedish quintet has established itself as an undisputed rock reference — to the point that, according to Joe Strummer, they saved rock’n’roll.
On Friday, July 11th, Parc del Fòrum will witness their unstoppable energy, with a live show that promises to make the audience vibrate with explosive riffs and their iconic attitude.
