In 2019 they released their first EP, ‘Yunque, clavos y arcayatas‘, which was successfully published, although it was somewhat truncated by the pandemic. During 2020 they released two singles, but it was not until 2022 that the duo formed by Manuel Hidalgo Sierra and Luis Abril Martín shook the cements of the national music scene with the EP ‘Jamila’.
Finally, in 2023 they released their first album ‘Roneo Funk Club’, with which they proved that no matter how much the wind blows there is no one who sinks a project as unique as theirs!

With a style that is difficult to describe, La Plazuela draws from flamenco music, Andalusian popular culture and especially from Granada, and feeds on electronic and funk music, offering as a result a tasting menu that combines honour to the roots, musical experimentation and a very current discourse.
Next Thursday July 11 they will be performing their only concert in Barcelona this summer at the Festival Cruïlla 2024!
