Ocata is originally the name of the beach from El Masnou. A beach that is the main stage for thousands of everyday and unknown stories, lived by its protagonists with passion, love and sadness. Because these are the stories that are lived by the sea. And so are the stories presented by Ocata. A band born to tell them.
With their debut album, 9 Historias y 1 Mentira, Ocata presented a declaration of principles about their style: making short stories accompanied by pop music. The lyrics are full of cities and characters; everyday situations that never cease to be extraordinary. A small universe of stories that grows this year with Todas las Suertes de Lo Imprevisible, their latest work.
